The Letter That Said It All

The founder of Royal Family Kids Camp wrote us a letter that really spoke to my heart. He knew that a lot of us would be wondering what we got ourselves into, realizing how tired we were and how far away Friday seemed.. but then he reminded us of how much worse the childrens' situations are at home. We volunteered to be a part of this week to honor and praise these kids. To give them a week simply for them so that they can have positive and fun memories. Don't get me wrong, I felt exhausted, lonely, and flat out defeated every day but it was for the kids and I could only rely on God to get through it. I truly felt him working in me to be a light for my campers. He was the one to give me strength, wisdom and courage every day of this week and it was an incredible feeling.
