A lovely surprise.

So I walk into the dining hall and see this guy standing behind the kitchen counter with a handsome, genuine smile on his face. We seemed to make eye contact all throughout our meals and we even exchanged a few words. I learned that he went to Eastern but is finished with school now. That makes him how old? He did look about my age but I guess we can't judge by the cover. He is on staff for YMCA camps and will be at Camp Dudley all summer. I found him on facebook but who knows when he'll be on the computer since he'll be in the woods for a while. There is always something exciting about a new face that makes you smile :) Did I mention his name was Joe? :)

The little girlies and I went canoeing today. The weather was perfect, sunny and warm. Just spending the day doing what I love... hanging out with kids and serving the Lord above.
